Play To feature no longer works

So since the update it appears the Play To feature doesn't work, it worked fine during the preview version of the update. I was wondering if anyone is having a similar problem with this feature?

Xbox 360 party feature no longer works!

No that's definitely not the case, I've talked to several people and we only have issues joining parties not starting them. We've only been able to join with invites, even if it's not set to invite only.

So I noticed recently that there never seems to be nobody starting or hosting parties when I check. But in reality they are they just don't show up on the list; as well as the fact that I can no longer join a party unless I get invited to it. I have asked
several friends and they've had the same exact issue. So I was wondering is the party feature of Xbox 360 just dead and unsupported now. Is it a sign that everyone should consider moving on now? If your having the same issue please let me know as I'd love
to figure this out as its a pain in the butt to ask someone to invite you ever time you lag out or need to check another party real quick.

 

Try power cycling the console (support.xbox.com/.../power-cycle-console) if you have not done so already and see if you still have issues with it.

 

Of course that was the first thing I tried, I even tried restarting the computer, it's like it can't find the Xbox One

 

It's probably because now that there is an official retail release version, the drivers are now out of date and incompatible. To be honest the app has been very hit or miss anyway. The way the system is built, you're not supposed to be able to stream content
through the X1 to play things that aren't either on a disk or purchased through Xbox Music or Xbox Video.
