Play saved games from 360 on Xbox One

Hi guys

I installed both Star Wars Fore Unleashed games on my Xbox One and both reported having previous saved games once install was complete. But when I try to play it, it only offers me a chance to save to the cloud, and says there are no saved games available.
I previously saved to the 360 itself, so I thought it was strange it originally said it found saved games, so I don't know which report is correct.

Has anyone any experience with this? Can I move them from the 360 to the One like I can move them from 360 to 360?

Xbox LIve on 360 and Xbox One - Same Account?

My son has an account on Xbox Live he uses with his 360; he's been playing NBA 2K14 and I assume his info and game profile stuff is being saved there.

I know he can't play the 360 game on the One. If I get him NBA 2K14 for the One, will the game pull in any info for the game that's saved on Xbox Live and use it in the game?

Is Xbox Live for Xbox One COMPLETELY SEPARATE from Xbox Live for Xbox 360?

Play saved 360 games on Xbox One

I downloaded the updates necessary to play Star Wars The Force Unleased & The Force Unleased II (both 360 games) onto my Xbox One. When I opened FU II it said it found saved games, then asked me where I wanted to save my game going forward. But it only offered
Cloud storage (my previous saved games were on the 360 hard drive, but I thought that progress was sync'd to the cloud, which made sense when I saw it mention finding previous saved games on the One). I chose this and was presented with a screen offering me
a save slot, but saying there were NO saved games available.

I'm wondering what I'm missing. Do I need to move the games manually from the 360 (and if so, how?) Or do I have to play from the beginning again?

Hi there, xbox one accesses saved games for 360 via the cloud. You can transfer these from your 360 - there's a guide on how to do this below.

The original Xbox games saves cannot be transferred. You will have to start those games again on the Xbox One if you want to play them. As for the Xbox 360 game saves, they can be saved to the cloud using the xbox 360, and they automatically transfer over
when you play a 360 game on the One. All saves on the Xbox One are stored on the cloud, and on the Xbox One. You can find the saves for each game by highlighting your game on my games and apps, press the menu button on controller and select manage game, and
from there you can find your saves.

If you're playing an Xbox 360 game on your Xbox One through backward compatibility, your saves are accessible from the cloud. You shouldn't have any issues loading up a save on your Xbox 360 so long as your account has Xbox Live Gold. If you're playing the
Xbox One version of an Xbox 360 game, there isn't a way to transfer saves.

I like the following scenario:

To be able to play some Xbox 360 games on your Xbox One console via Emulation. However there will/could be some drawbacks. For example, Game saves from an Xbox 360 console cannot be transferred to an Xbox One console unless that 360 game's saves are available
in the cloud. Xbox Live functionality for some games on Xbox 360 games will be discontinued. You can, however, play system link between Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles. Lastly, not all games will be supported.

Hey have you tried using a different gamer account for those game saves?

Have you tried playing those games offline with the local save? That's all i have

This happens to xbox 360 online gold saves. While playing any xbox 360 game from the xbox one. The game saves, however if you play that same game on the xbox 360 does not save.

Anyways try giving xbox a call. I really don't like calling them either only because of that phone bot.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums today. To answer your question; Yes, the game progress you have saved on your Xbox 360 does show up on your Xbox One as long as you sign in with the same account you use on your Xbox 360.
When you set up an Xbox One console and connect it to Xbox Live, certain information from your Xbox 360 will automatically become available on your Xbox One. This page
'Moving from Xbox 360 to Xbox One' describes what is transferred and what is not.

Note: You must have Cloud Saved games enabled on your 360.

To continue playing a game on Xbox One that you started on Xbox 360, save it to the cloud. When you play the game again here on Xbox One, you’ll pick up where you left off. (If you're already using Cloud Saved Games, you're good to go. )

If your saved game is stored only on your Xbox 360, do the following before playing on Xbox One:

On your Xbox 360 console, go to Settings > System >
Storage > Cloud Saved Games, and then select
Enable.

[*]Start your game. When you're prompted to select a device for saving your game, choose
Cloud Saved Games.
[*]End your game. Leave your Xbox 360 turned on long enough for it to upload your saved game.
