urgent request block player

Please refrain from posting others gamertags in the forums, it is frowned upon.

When you go to read the message, the option "block communications with this user" should be there. (along with reply, delete, etc). This will stop this person from communicating with you.

You should "Avoid this Player":

To avoid a player

1. Press the Guide button.
2. Select Friends, then go to the Players tab. Select the player’s gamertag.
   
   Select Submit Player Review.
3. Select Avoid This Player
4. Select why you want to avoid the player: Communication, Game Behavior, or Player Skill.
   
5. Select the specific reason why you want to avoid the player.

If the player is breaking the Terms of Service (for example: cheating, using threatening language, etc) you should report them:

If you feel that an Xbox LIVE player has violated the Xbox LIVE Code of Conduct, you can file a complaint against that player. If a game has a complaint option, you can file a complaint from within the game. Refer to the documentation that came with the
game for instructions. You can also follow the steps below.

Note If the player hasn’t violated the code of conduct but you want to avoid them, consider filing a player review.

To file a complaint

1. Press the Guide button on your controller.
2. Select Friends, then go to the Players tab.
3. Select File Complaint. Then select File Complaint again on the next screen.

Select one of the following general reasons for filing the complaint:

• Profile: The player’s gamertag, personal picture, or personal information contains inappropriate material.
  
• Text and Voice Communications: The player used vulgar, hateful, harassing, or threatening language in voice or text communications.
  
• Video Communications: The player was vulgar, hateful, harassing, or threatening in video communications.
  
• Tampering: The player tampered with a game, an Xbox 360 console, Xbox LIVE, or the feedback system.
  
  Select one of the following specific reasons for filing the complaint:

• Profile: Gamertag, Personal Picture, Personal Info, Player Content
• Text and Voice Communications: Text Message, Voice Message, Voice Chat, In-Game Voice
  
• Video Communications: Picture Message, Video Chat
• Tampering: Feedback Tampering, System Tampering, Cheating

Select File Complaint. Select Don’t File if you decide not to file a complaint.

Note Filing a complaint won't mute, block, or help you to avoid a player.

Update Request: Media Player

One thing I liked about the PS4 was that I was able to play music files from my external hard drive while I was playing a game. Unfortunately, that's not the case with Xbox's media player and the music player seems to crash a lot with me.

I would love to see this included in the next update as this appears to be a request a lot of other games have as well.
