    Play on Both for Destiny: The Taken King DLC


    Was recommended that if I wanted this expansion pack that we purchased on xbox 360 to work on the Xbox One without repurchase to request it here on the forum.

    So consider this our vote to push this item up in priority.

    Xbox 360 game expansion will not transfer to Xbox One

    Hello SharpShooter7AR,

    Destiny: The Taken King DLC does not transfer over from Xbox 360 to Xbox One like Expansion 1 (Dark Below) and Expansion 2 (House of Wolves). It was noted prior to release that The Taken King DLC would need to be purchased on both platforms separately if
    you wished to play on 360 and One.

    Hope this clarifies things!

    Game not showing up in My games and apps

    If you bought Destiny: The Taken King it only include the DLC but you will need the base game to play it. If you buy Destiny: The Taken King - Legendary Edition, it will include the base game and the expansion.

    want to visit the Xbox Feedback site (xbox.uservoice.com/.../298503-backwards-compatibility) and delve deeper there.

    Destiny the taken king price

    The price of The Taken King only is $39.99 US. You can access it by launching Destiny and playing The Taken King trailer from the menu (where you select your destination).

    Please be aware that in order to purchase that DLC you will need to have previously purchased the full game and the previous 2 DLC's.
