    Play Music While Gaming


    Does anyone know a quick way to set up the xbox one so that you can play a game and listen to music? I have thousands of mp3s to listen to and no way to do it on xbox while gaming that I'm aware of...

    The reason I want to play it through the xbox and not another device is so that It plays in my headset as I run and gun. I'll still have the game sound effects in those moments where it helps to know enemy locations and I'll also have some sweet music to
    rock me through the grind.

    Am I missing something? How does this process work? Please ELIF(explain it like I'm 5)...

    Music while gaming?

    why on earth they cannot integrate the original system like it was into this new one is beyond me, should be the os handling music not some daft app.

    You need to rip CDs onto your hard drive. Burnt CDs don't work.

    Once music is on there by those means, your music player can play, even while gaming.

    OR, use an MP3 player connected by USB, which will work the same way.

    Unless you have the music files downloaded locally, you cannot stream music while you game unfortunatly.

    You can if you have windows 7 or below on a networked computer and share the music files on it. Windows 8 doesnt allow it due to a glitch in that its crap.
