    Play minecraft with split screen without game pass


    My kids use to play split screen Minecraft on an Xbox S device for multiple years now. After the recent update all their worlds are disabled and marked multiplayer. I checked the settings to ensure multiplayer is enabled on all profiles. When they attempt to assess worlds, they are taken to the game pass purchase screen. Why am I forced to buy game pass to play locally? It should work locally as has been for multiple years. Microsoft should not retrofit their decision to make money on existing customers. Checking on internet I am not alone. Please fix this.

    Minecraft is a 2 player split screen game (also up to 4-play split)

    Borderlands 2 is also split, think racking games, fighting games, you could play a game that doesn't require a split screen to be a local game like FIFA, WWE, NHL, NBA etc

    You will need to have a HD TV and a HDMI Cable to connect your console to your HD TV, without a HD TV you will not be able to play Minecraft in Split Screen.
