Play Minecraft Offline

Hi! So my daughter loves Minecraft and she only plays offline (due to her age, I don't want her online with other people)

I gave her my old Xbox one S to play on. The game is owned under my account, so I signed into her Xbox, made her console my "home console" and switched over to her account and she's been playing. Recently I've taken up gaming again, but whenever I try to play a game on my Xbox, it will kick her off Minecraft, even though the account she's using is hers, mines just signed in in the background.

How can I get it so she can play, even if I set my Xbox to "offline"? When I try that, it forces me to go online, and then rinse and repeat. Any help would be highly appreciated!

Nothing changed. No single player mode available.

Update: got it working! I thought I was signing out of my account but I was just simply switching. After actually signing out, its all good to go!

Thank you for the information.

Please double-check if your account is successfully set as home Xbox, by signing your account where the game Minecraft was purchased > press the Xbox menu button on your controller > please go to settings > Personalization > My home Xbox > then please check which option do you see.

If you see the option to remove this account as my home Xbox, which means your account is already set as home Xbox.

If you see the option set this account as home Xbox, which means your account is not yet set as home Xbox. If so, please click on Set this account as home Xbox. Once the settings are saved, please sign out of your account and let your daughter's account sign in and try to play the game Minecraft to see if it works.

Yes, I just verified her console is set as my accounts "home Xbox"

Oh I just want to clarify, on your daughter's console, your account where the game Minecraft was purchased is currently set as home Xbox which shows the option "Remove this as my home Xbox" When you check it on your account, is that correct?

If so, please double-check how many of your Xbox home switches remain under your account please. You can see it under "My home Xbox"
