Play games bought in the uk and play them in the US

Nope, makes no difference. Games unlock on the release date of the region you bought them from, regardless of which region your console is set to.

I'm in the UK, I've bought games from the US before that release on a Tuesday in US, Friday in UK, I leave my console set to UK all the time, I've been able to play games on the Tuesday.

If you're in the US, and own Dying Light, try switching your console to UK, where the DL release isn't until Friday, you'll still be able to play it.

I think it will work with no problems, i bought some games in Germany and UK and play them in Spain and there's no problem.

I already have Xbox Live Gold (bought it in UK through the Xbox store) so if I get the game in US and try to play multiplayer online on my UK Xbox in the UK will the game work? Thanks.

Can't play UK bought games on a US bought console. Other than that should work. Point cards probably won't work either.
