Play & Charge Kit and XBox One gamepad with Windows 10

    Hello!

I use a gamepad from XBox One in conjunction with a laptop on Windows 10 (1703, it seems). Accordingly, "bluetooth" from the laptop.

The battery in the gamepad is original, the cable is also original. So, the question is:

Why, when disconnecting the power cable, does the gamepad not reconnect with the laptop? This, of course, can be solved by removing the gamepad from the devices and then reconnecting, but can there be a more rational solution? Every 20-25 hours you have
    to reconnect the device!

Thanks in advance, even if there is no solution to the problem. I found no information anywhere.

    :)

[Xbox 360 Play & Charge Kit] How do I recharge battery kit on PC using Windows 7?

    Hello!

I have purchased the new Xbox gamepad that comes with Play & Charge kit.

On Xbox 360 the battery kit recharges fine but it does not recharge at all in PC using Windows 7.

I also I own the Wireless receiver.

Please note: I'm asking how to recharge the kit, not how I'll play with the gamepad using play & charge kit.

  3. Xbox Play and Charge kit; does it come with everything?

    Hi.

I had some problems with the two brands for play and charge. Hama and Speed link.

Hama had some visual defects, but technically it was relatively ok

Speedlinkl It has technical problems: the battery is discharging very quickly.

After a full charge if I put the battery out of the gamepad, in three days is completely discharged..

When I changed the brand I wanted to buy the original play and charge kit. This one

    www.xbox.com/.../play-and-charge-kitMy
gamepad is for windows with a receiver

But the guy at the store, in which I did not really trust, He told me that this is only for xbox.

Then I bought Speedlink which was found to be defective.

So Tomorrow I go to the store to return it and I want to know if the original play and charge kit It can charge the battery from pc?

    1. My gamepad is for windows with a receiver

Question: The Gamepad for xbox (console) and one for Pc (Windows) are the same?

my Opinion: My logic, I must believe that they are teh same, the only difference is that the gamepad for pc has a receiver for sincronization.

    2. People from xbox. fabricated a PC gamepad with receiver.

Question: where is the play and charging kit for PC?

my Opinion: The cable from play and charge kit is only for charging, with USB jack

It is just a charging cable with a rechargeable battery.

If the gamepad for xbox is the same with gamepad for pc, only difference is that the gamepad for pc has a receiver

Why the cable would not fit to PC?

    3. So. Can I buy the original Play and charge kit to charge my gamepad from PC or not?

    Thank you!

Not via a play and charge kit. The play and charge kit simply charges the gamepad it doesn't turn it into a wired controller.

I agree that the problem arises most likely because of the laptop, since the X-Box controller is equipped with a Bluetooth module and when searching and connecting in Windows everything works fine. After charging the battery with a cable and disconnecting
the cable, the Bluetooth connection is broken. Further everything as I described earlier. It's a pity that such a problem arises between the products of one company and no software can fix it. Thank you for your help, friend!
"disconnecting the cable, the Bluetooth connection is broken"

    - If you're using a USB cable plugged into the front of the controller and that cable is plugged into the PC, you're using a wired connection at that point.

    - Try a different charging device. And while the Xbox controller is charging, establish the bluetooth connection on the PC

    - The Xbox One controller via bluetooth is connected using the Mouse/Keyboard connection and not other devices from what I recall

"It's a pity that such a problem arises between the products of one company and no software can fix it"

    - Let me tell you a story about the windows phone and syncing issues...lol

    - Look up frustration in the dictionary and you'll see me yelling at my phone and pc

It is a reasonable expectation to think that devices by the same company will connect or work together. It is often not that case.

Going back to the controller and the play and charge kit. I had one as well. In my experience, the USB charging through the PC or Xbox just did not seem to provide enough power to charge the battery long enough or provide long enough of a charge as a whole.

I did buy 4 AA NiMH Amazon Basics batteries and a separate wall charger. And the life of the charge has been so much greater for me. I'm not trying to through Microsoft under the bus on this but the play and charge kit just did not work well for me.

Keep us posted on your progress here!

Being that you're on a laptop. There could be an issue if or when the laptop comes back from a standby mode.

I used to use an older Xbox One controller with a USB cable plugged in from the front of the controller to the PC but it would disconnect at random times.

I did purchase a newer controller with the built in bluetooth in the controller and I don't have any issues since I've stopped using the cable connection.

I do need to make sure the controller is on first before I start my game though.
