    Play and charge kit


    Got a play and charge kit for my new Xbox One. Every time I plug the charging cord into the controller, it disconnects the controller from the console. I've tried different cords , and still have the same results. Called Microsoft support several times and
    they say that its the controller, and they said they would send me a new controller, but I had to send them my controller first. The only problem with that is I only have one controller, so I just plug it up when I'm not playing and reconnect it with the
    console when I want to play. Has anyone else had this issue.

    play and charge kit Play and charge kit :)

    i just took the rechargable battery pack out of my controller and fidled with the release button on top of the battery pack and it fits in nice now and doesnt come loose. but the release button doesnt stick out at all like the original battery pack. it sits
    flush with the controller.. is this the same for you mate??

    It turns off for a second when you attach cord but only for a second

    I have the same issue, it's a pain if you want to charge it while playing a game. I usually find an angle where it won't disconnect, sit it on something or stand it and leave it to charge.

    Not via a play and charge kit. The play and charge kit simply charges the gamepad it doesn't turn it into a wired controller.
