    Play and Charge kit/rechargeable batteries


    I have a play and charge kit. I have been using it for about 2 years and recently the battery has not been keeping the charge for very long and when I charge it the indicator says that it is fully charged after a short period of time (about 10 mins). Is
    there a fix for this problem? Do I need to buy a new battery? Does Microsoft sell individual batteries or do I have to buy a whole new play and charge kit?

    Xbox one controllers are trash

    Batteries in the Xbox One controller are meant to be replaceable, normally with AA-batteries.

    Are you using disposable or rechargeable batteries?

    If you are using rechargeables, such as the
    Xbox Play and Charge Kit    , and the battery pack isn't able to hold a charge anymore, you'll just need to replace it.

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, rechargeable batteries don't last forever, though they are still more financially viable than non-rechargeable ones. I doubt also that we'll see a play and charge kit without the USB cable since they are so inexpensive that it's easier, and
    probably cheaper, to just have the one product than have 2 separate ones that would be very similar in price.

    The cable from the play and charge kit will not charge regular Alkaline batteries. So you will need to replace the batteries when they are depleted. The battery pack from the play and charge kit is a rechargeable battery pack that can be charged when it
