    Play and charge kit not working


    Yet once again I'm having an issue with my One. This time it's the play and charge kit. Every time I plug it in, the little yellow light comes on, then goes away. I tried all the different USB ports and it really did nothing. Finally after 10 mins of trying
    to get it to work, the thing is finally staying on. I'm assuming there is something wrong with the battery in the controller. But hopefully there is a quick fix! I'm not dumping more money into this garbage system.

    My play and charge kit is working and lasting fine on the Xbox One. And for the 360 I used the play and charge kit briefly, and i did not like the cords. So I switched to the quick charge kit. I found that to be far more satisfactory than the play and

    If you are looking for a rechargeable battery for your controller I would recommend getting an official play and charge kit.

    I have been using the official Xbox One play and charge kit for quite a number of years and it's still holding its charge and working great, additionally I have just checked my play and charge kit and it says it's a 3V battery.

    No it is not a play and charge kit mine is a dreamgear charge kit. And yes i tried different USB charges but the thing is that the battery is fully charged but my controller ain't working with it

    You don't seem to have understood my problem.

    It works fine with the cable but it doesn't work wirelessly. The controller disconnects when trying to connect it wirelessly with the play and charge kit battery. Wireless with AA batteries is fine, Wired with the charge kit is fine. Wireless
    with the play and charge kit battery doesn't work.

    I have the wireless adapter and I am trying to connect it wirelessly to my Xbox controller with the play and charge kit battery, that

    Is your console turned on? Are you able to see if the battery symbol shows it is charging?

    These charging kits, unfortunately, do not last forever. Here is the play and charge support page which has more troubleshooting options. It does say Xbox One, but the kits work the same on the 360.
