    Play and charge kit isn't lighting up.


    I am currently charging my controller and usually the light on the P&C wire lights orange when charging and then white when it's fully charged.

    Right now there is no light at all, but evidently from the console, it is charging (or under Xbox Accessories, it says "Plugged in").

    Could this be a bug?

    My controller is updated and there is no available updates.

    If this is or isn't a bug, how would I know when to remove the wire? I don't like overcharging or guessing when to remove it.

    Does the xbox one not have the UI to show the animated battery?

    It's still the same.

    It is annoying they got rid of the charging animation as the charging cable that comes with the USB-C play & charge kit doesn't have a light on it to show when it's charged like the old play & charge kits.

    How do you know the battery pack are working fine? Do you mean that they get charged but the light never lights up?

    Are you using the official XBox One charge and play kit?

    Chatpad no longer working with 11/19 Update

    Update: It's definitely an issue with the Chatpad. The light on the Play and Charge Kit Cable lights up now when the Chatpad is disconnected from the controller. The moment u plug it in, the light turns off. Unplug and the light comes back on.

    Hey there! I had something similar to this happen with my play and charge kit. The lights stopped lighting up red/green, but it still charged my battery pack. Have you tried the controller to see if it's holding a charge? I'm wondering if your lights just

    Isn't that just for charging as with the Xbox 360 play and charge kit?
