    Hi,

    I bought a new controller with the play and charge kit on the 17th August and the battery is almost useless! After removing the charge lead (when its showing full charge) it only last 10 mins ma before it says it needs charging again!

    It doesnt appear to take much charge as it only charges for around 20 mins before showing full. It has never held much charge from new and I have tried a different charge cable as I have the play and charge kit on another controller (the battery on this one
    last a few days and had it since March!)

    I bought it from amazon which appears to only give 30 days warranty? Can I get this replaced on warranty?

    wired controllers for xb1.

    take out the battery and plug the play and charge cable and it becomes wired, don't have to worry about overcharging your play and charge kit battery.

    I don't believe they sell battery covers on their own. However, you can buy a rechargeable battery pack either as a play and charge kit or battery and charger.

    You may be able to register the product as an accessory at
    http://myservice.xbox.com     (not 100% sure, but it's a first party accessory so there's a good chance you can), in which case you might be able to get it replaced by Xbox through that channel.

    http://myservice.xbox.com     (not 100% sure, but it's a first party accessory so there's a good chance you can), in which case you might be able to get it replaced by Xbox through that channel.

    That would depend on the batteries. If they are standard AA batteries, recharagable or not, then they cannot be charged in the controller. Rechargable AA batteries need to be charged with an AA battery charger. The only battery that can be charged in the controller is the Xbox play and charge battery.

    What type of batteries are you trying to charge? If it's rechargeable AA, then they cannot be charged in the controller. The only batteries that can be charged that way are the play and charge batteries. To charge AA batteries, you will need a separate
    AA battery charger.
