Play All Sound Through Headset

Hi there,

Is it somehow possible to configure the Xbox One to play all audio through the headset that came with the Xbox? I know it's not ideal, but I'm playing with others in the room and don't want any audio coming out of the TV.

Xbox one headset not working

for the longest time I was using my xbox one headset to play all the xbox sounds through, but when I turned on my xbox a few days ago no sound comes through my headset anymore except for party chat(mix does still work). I would like the sounds to come through
the headset so I can hear the game better whilst also being able to talk in party chat. Please help me fix this. And I didn't change any of my setting to cause this change.

 

Stereo Dashboard Sounds

After the newest update on Xbox One, all of the new dashboard sound effects play in stereo through my headset and sometimes only play out of one ear. Is there some way to make only the dashboard sounds mono or disable them all together?

 

Not with the standard headset mate thats for game chat only

Up until recently, I had success with plugging in my PSB & Soundheiser (sp?) headphones into the tv. All signals go from the console... via HDMI cable... LG television. Issue: no mic feature. Reasonable stereo sound. My LG tv shut off the external speakers
once the jack was plugged in. Check your tv manual & its options to see if it would work for you. Option #2.... attach a headset adapter to the xbox 1 controller. Actually works quite well for mic & headphone usage.

I'm now desiring even better audio quality. TOSlink... DAC/amp... my cans. Sound BlasterX 5G? Schiit? Wish me luck...
