does not open the guest option as in gears 2 ...

could 2 people play on the same console with headphones and chat.

also can 2 people play on the same console and join a online game and chat.

We have separate live accounts but play split screen. So, microsoft never thought that people with headphones would want to talk to each other? Wtf is that? Is there a [Mod removed]?

I know it gets a little confusing hearing footsteps and grenades if it's not your screen, but it's really annoying to not be able to chat and co-ordinate with the rest of the team.

Hi I believe that for 2 consoles to play online at the same time you would need buy 2 Xbox live subscriptions. As one subscription only works for one player.

What games are you trying to play?

Not all games support two players locally.

Look on the back of the game box (or the Marketplace listing's description) for more information. It will tell you about local capabilities ("Xbox 360") and Online ("Xbox Live") and it will say something like "Players 1" or "Players 1-2" which will tell
you how many people can play on the same Xbox 360.

It will also tell you the online capabilities, but this will say "Online multiplayer 2-12" for instance.

Yes, you and a buddy can be on the same Xbox 360 and play together offline against each other. You cannot have 2 players on the same Xbox 360 go online.

Mister BuzzBee, I believe its the same as Reach, with it being 4 player co-op online and 2 player splitscreen if playing local. I can't find anywhere to confirm this being 100% mind.
