Cheers for the help dudes, I've been playing on Sniping only servers the last few days. Just got the JNG-90, got the recon class finished, just gotta work up to the Barret and SSR61 on weapons. I'm not keen on the standard 7X scope on the JNG, I prefer the
8X crosshairs as the second dot down is pretty bang on my 200 yard marker. I have found sitting out there looking for 300-400 plus shots is not good, I try to stick around the 100-200 yard/metre mark, it's a lot easier and a lot more effective in defence on
Rush. I'll give Hardcore a bash today as I have the day off.

You could look for a server that says 'no snipers' in the title. I currently play on one that only does team deathmatch with 20 players - mind that its hardcore.

Yeah I don't have c4 unlocked yet for support class. Reason why been using sniper lately. But i'm not the typical sniper either. Not the guy back 500 yards doing nothing. I'm point man front lines flip c4 in door ways cleaning up and place spawn beacon
in sneaky places near objectives so we get quick spawns for the objectives and be close to the enemy for quick placement for easy kills.

Only bad part is when i'm playing with randoms they never seem to hand out ammo on rush mode. Everyone is for them selves. So many times I was out of c4 and could of broken a few tanks. But no everyone hides while i'm raging for someone to toss me a
ammo pack.

My sniper class is last in points score out of all four classes. But its right on supports tail for third place. Plus I have this new sexy rifle. None of that bolt action crap. I'm like the Rifleman tv show up close getting kills. I seem to be raging
less on the mic since I unlocked a decent weapon that gets me kills.

Well it's getting as little easier as I learn the maps and get some different scopes, gadgets etc. However the game doesn't help either, guys running faster than a speeding bullet, bullet recognition etc. I don't think sniping is " easy ", however this maybe
just me, I think some of the assault rifles are over powered, or over accurate. I shot a dude from 10ft away the other day in the shoulder with a sniper rifle and he just shrugged it of and zapped me with his assault rifle, I've shot guys from 100ft away,
to then just have them turn round a spray me with bullets and mow me down. However I have tried the assault rifles etc' when sniping is out of the question and also found these hit and miss. For me this is a good thing though, I fully see the game as a skill
to be learnt, not just a pick up and run and gun. It is just me who needs to up my game.

Like I have tried to say, this is not a poor me, poor me. I fully understand I need to get better, I just find it tricky.

I'm old too and Apoc is even older than I am. hehehe. Sniping in BF is different. Unlike COD, Halo, etc the bullets don't follow a laser beams trajectory and speed as it's meant to be a little more realistic. You'll need to account for bullet drop and adjust
your trajectory. You'll also need to slightly lead your targets at long distances. Be sure to adjust your distance when sniping by hitting down on the D pad and selecting the approximate range.
