    Hi, I'm Kim

    I haven't got much insight into the Xbox, game-platform, game-purchase business, so I hope for some assistance or tips regarding my problem.

    Last week I bought "Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare" for my son, on Microsoft Store from my son's Xbox One. He was so thrilled, and couldn't wait to start the game.

    Only to see the game stop in the beginning of the startup process, while "contacting EA-servers", and display the message:

    Does any of you good people out there know

    1) which permissions it is, that we haven't got?, and

    2) how come, we can buy a game on the store, without being informed about other stuff/buyings(?) required in order for the game to function?

    Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare on Xbox One refuses run

    Perform a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

    Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational, test
    the results.

    Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 1 - Xbox 360 to Xbox One

    Plants vs. Zombies is backwards compatible, but Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is not. You would have to purchase the One version if you want to play it on the One.
