Planning on buying a US xbox one to take to india

Hey guys planning on buying a us xbox one as the price difference is massive.. The 400 dollar console is coming here for close to 750 dollars including the 3 year warranty.. I think that's way too much for a video game console.. Do you think il just be fine
with a step down or does this spoil the box over time? maybe try getting Microsoft to hook me up with an Asian power brick and will that actually work on my us box? Cheers guys

Xbox One Global Warranty

I am in Taiwan now, on a temporary visit. I am planning to buy a Xbox one here. But i might need to take to to India.

In case of any warranty services required, can i give it to local service center in India, or is it limited only in Taiwan.?

 

Playing on Xbox Live when in different region

I'm planning on buying an Xbox one in September, when it is officially available in India. However, I would be moving to Oman shortly after that for a work assignment, that'll last for 3 -4 months. If I'm correct, Xbox live is not available in Oman. Would
I be still able to pay online using the console that I purchased in India? I would be setting up the India region in my profile, obviously. Thanks in advance.

 

Maybe I can buy the console from the states and buy a power brick when the x1 officially releases in India in sept in sure it will still work out way cheaper..

I really don't think using U.S. version of Xbox One in your country will damage the console over times. However, You probably have to buy one voltage converter if the voltage is different. Don't try to plug it to your outlet right away as this will result
in power brick being burnt!

But do you guys think a voltage converter is good enough even if i game for a few hours a day or you think i should try getting my hands on an indian brick when it releases offically? Will the indian brick work in the us console straight into the wall?

 

I just checked on line you could use a UK power brick all you will need is a plug adapter

 

As GrowlingYapper said all you would really need is a plug adapter. The power brick also shouldnt send more power then it's made to so the console would be safe

The best option is to kind of wait , for another month(if its not much of a waiting time for you).

Another option is to get UK Power brick(would cost u 30 pounds)

MS doesnt suggest using stepdown voltage converter as well...

I am currently in india using a US Console.
