Plague Tale Innocence: Gamepass quest

Hey there.

For the Gamepass Quest: Throw 5 items by hand, I was playing for a couple hours so I threw well over a dozen items by hand (I used the sling as well, but I definitely threw well over 5 items by hand).

After I stopped playing I went to check on the quest and it still shows 0/5 times. Any idea what needs to be done for this to register? Am I missing something?

Restart. On the begining (escape with mother) throw five rocks and it will be dine. If not, there is a problem. Then contact rewards support from your reward account web page. They answer in 24 hours time frame.

Thank you. I will retry and let you know if it works.

Update: It didn't work for me. I started a whole new game in a new save slot and played the part you recommended. I made sure I completed that part also--just in case it would make a difference. I threw about 10 things and I still have 0/5 progress for the
quest. Thanks again for your time and advice.

Thanks for the advice cryptic. Unfortunately, this didn't work for me either. I'm trying on the PC version--not sure if that's causing the problem.

If you throw stones to hit helmets or armor to distract guards the quest will pop. In my opinion the easiest chapter is 4: The Apprentice. Just head to the first spot with the guards, hide in the grass and wait for the conversation, and throw 5 rocks.

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand you have question on a quest for game pass. This is throwable items like rocks or pots. Personally have tried this also and it is not registering for me either. I will keep you updated if I figure it out.
