Placement of Levers Bug

I have been playing Minecraft on the XBox; the 360 experience was pretty dang good. However on the XBox One, it has been more troublesome.

Today I was installing railroad switches. Placing levers on the ground flat onto Limestone or Cobblestone blacks was not a problem. It’s a little pesky, but most of the time I can get the placement correct after one or two tries. Everything was fine this
morning, however about an hour ago a pesky, if not frustrating bug appeared:

I can only place levers on the ground in the North-South orientation, no matter which direction my character is facing or the type of opaque block (wood, limestone, cobblestone…). To confirm, I rode the rails to other switchyards and inspected
the orientation of the levers; it’s a mix of N-S and E-W; seems ok, and confirmed they work and all.

As a test, I removed an E-W oriented lever and guess what: I can no longer place it in an East-West orientation.

Opened the regular Tutorial, crafted a lever and placed it on the ground: Same bug – can’t change the orientation to E-W. Opened the Skyrim Tutorial, created a crafting table and then a lever: It too is same same.

First, I’d like to understand HOW this occurred during my present gaming session, and secondly WHY does it affect previously-placed levers.

Placement of ads

i just discovered this game tonight and was enjoying it-- except for one major gripe. On the daily challenge game where you're supposed to complete two or more puzzles within a time limit and earn a particular score, the ad box is very poorly positioned
immediately below the draw box, such that when you drag the next piece out of the draw box and try to move it over the puzzle, like as not you'll touch the ad box unintentionally and the screen will split to take you to the store and prompt you as to whether
you want to upgrade to the ad-free version. It's like the game designers did that on purpose to try to make you swipe the upgrade option without meaning to. I'm sorry, but it is just frustrating to play this game as it is. Sorry guys, but that's a major deal-breaker
for me. Consider me a potential fan who got away-- or rather was driven away by your poor design ethics.
