Pioneer SBX300 issue with Kinect commands (IR Blaster)

I am wrestling with this exact problem. How do the Kinect bounce the IR signal back to the 360 to issue commands? I dont have an IR blaster...

Is your console enrolled in the Insider Preview program?

Also, do you have a Xbox One S or X with the internal IR blaster, or is your console an original Xbox One with Kinect attached?

Also try to check if the console actually sends IR commands by doing the following: Start up the camera app on your smartphone, and point it to the IR blaster window on the lower right of the console, or the area next to the Xbox logo on the Kinect.

Try to send a command like volume up/down or actually turning the console off or on. You should see an infrared LED blinking inside the IR blaster window or next to the Xbox logo in the Kinect (it'll look like a purple LED on your camera screen). Do you
see the console actually sending the command?

The Kinect is an IR blaster.

I think this will fix most of your problem. I was having the same issue with my Xfinity XG1-A cable box. The Xbox Kinect has IR blasters that emits the IR codes. Try placing the Kinect in front or near your cable box and try to send a command via voice
or Xbox oneguide.

All Xbox Ones will be able to use the mic or the Kinect for voice commands with the summer update. From what I hear, the IR blaster will only be able to turn devices on/off.
