Pins not appearing on home screen and more...

On my home screen my pins do not appear.

instead it says "Your pins aren't available. They should be back soon".

and also on the right of my home screen where the updates and store were it says,

"Having trouble connecting? It might be a problem on our side. we're working on it".

It has been like this for several days now.

Pins are on the left, not the right, and are on the Pins screen, not the Home screen.

Searching for games, movies etc... is too hard

Pins allow you to quickly find the apps and experiences that you use the most. Think of a pin as a bookmark. You can pin your favorite game, app, or webpage to your Home screen for quick access.

I have the same issue after the update.

 

I'm having this same problem. It's been like this since the newest system update. I've been trying to figure out how to fix it for days now.

Anyone have any ideas on why it's doing this and how to fix it?

 

Not sure if any of you have already tried this or not, but I had this issue on Friday, and I just did a hard reset (holding the power button down for 5 seconds since mine is always in the Instant On power mode) and it worked for me. Worth a shot if you haven't
tried it yet!

Mines was doing it for 2 says. I unplugged it waited then plugged it back in. Now it works fine.

 

I had the same issue and the hard reset works a treat!

Not great though as it's happened a few times in the last week since the latest update. Hope MS fix it soon.

 

Hard reset worked like a charm! Just in time for Titanfall.

 

How do you do the hard reset? Hold the power button on the controller, or the console?
