Pinpointing my odd broken mic issue!

My promblem is, I can hear everyone both in game chat, as well as party chat. But nobody can hear me. my mic isnt muted. Ive tried hard resetting the xbox, its been going on for several days. this is why i dont know what to change...

headset: i dont think its the headset, because i have two and both of them have the same not broadcasting promblem

xbox one: i dont think its the xbox. Because when i unplug my mic, it changes the icon from the headset icon to the xbox icon. And i dont have many xbox glitches.

controller: this must be whats broken?? Or is it the xbox.. Anyone have this issue??

Are you having Streaming Issues? Many people are...

i was on both netflix and amazon for the last few weeks.. regularly at 8pm-6am... yes i am on an odd schedule. i have had 0 issues with streaming. when i have had issues it was due to my connection dropping..

i think people are quick to blame xbox because they want issues...

to many variables with network connection... things go down for maintance be it the program,the network its hard to pinpoint. but it is easy to assume.

Similar thing happening to me. When using the official xbox one stereo headset my chat output volume goes so low that party members can barely even hear me at all. Then sometimes it goes normal again. However when using the standar chat headset none of this
happens.

Both of my controllers show same symptons. Xbox support was unable to provide any answer at all aside from the typical send your headset back and get a new one. However some of my friends who've had this issue say that the replacement headset behaved the
exact same way.

Yeah I suspect it's an Xbox software problem. All started happening around this big march update time

Having the same issue, tried mine and my brother in laws on two different controllers. I can hear him fine cause he uses his kinect to Party chat but he cannot hear me. The party app doesn't even give the indication that it is picking me up. Alp stayed
happening around the time this last major update hit. Ms needs to fix this issue cause being about to chat with people is 1/2 the reason to even have live.

Sorry to hear about the odd issue, and thanks for listing what you have tried so far. Is there a way you can try your Xbox One console on a different network to see if there are similar results? That will really help us pinpoint where the issue is.
