Ping..

No it doesn't smart guy. ping time is whats most important PERIOD! XBOX and all multiplayer games like COD and BF are at fault here. Serious fault! They won't talk about it because they're only in it for the money. They will claim all day long that they
want to make a fair online gaming experience but the fact is they won't spend the money to regulate their servers correctly making sure everyones ping times are equal. And now that fiber connections are available they really don't want to talk about it. Bottom
line is Fiber optics is now available in few areas in the country & world and it's very sad to say that cable and dsl simply suck in caparison to Fiber FTTH ping times. You'll even have people as far as Australia connecting to xbox live servers and still faster
than you in ping times because they are running fiber and you're still on Comcrap, Do you really think Infinity, Treyarch, Xbox (Microsoft), Battlefield, etc, are going to mention this??? LOL Think again! They know the playing field is completely unfair &
they won't do anything about it, ALL BECAUSE OF MONEY and the love of money is the root of all evil. So we have 2 issues they need to deal with if we're ever going to see fairness & in the Hardcore scene, who the best really are.

1. Regulate servers according to ping time,

2. Fiber internet needs to become available to everyone.

Without taking care of these two issues FPS online will never be fair. Not saying you still can't win and be a better player because it actually does make me better every time I play against people who have an unfair advantage but lets be honest, when you're
playing against the best of the best, we need fairness otherwise it's time to save your money take your xbox and ps out the the range and make some youtube videos. It's more fun & responsible to buy real guns & ammo anyway seeing this country needs the 2nd
Amendment more than ever!

We know clans like 5 stars, 6 stars, (5TzR, 6TzR), ELTE etc, have a lot of guys with phenomenal ping times and if you really look at their skill level they're mostly just wannabes running their mouth in Domination standing behind their connection. Sorry
that's just a fact. Ya I can compete against them and still have good games because I'm a smarter player, but imagine if the playing field was equal, you would see most of these clowns leave the room cause they can't handle reality that they really just suck.

Unless you live in the San Diego area, I would not be surprised by inconsistent ping results. For load balancing, www.xbox.com may resolve to different servers based on user location. That is why I posted the full server name. Ping www.xbox.com and you should
see the hostname/ip it resolves to. In my tracert, www.xbox.com is one hop away from the last server in my ISP's network.
