: Ping spikes on multiplayer games

: Ping spikes on multiplayer games
Recently ive been having lag spike when playing multiplayer games on xbox ( sea of thieves and modern warfare) so i did a long ping check on my laptop which is on a wireless connection

Packets sent :754 recived :754

Minimum: 13 ms maximum 3416(tf?!) Average: 62 ms

Was getting 200-300 ms spikes occasionally

Then i did a test on the xbox which is a wired connction with open NAT

Download speed: 74.57 mbps

Upload speed: 7.2 mbps

0% packet loss

25 ms latency ( did one previous which said 57 which seems about right)

Yet when i open up modern warfare join a game an use the pause menu network display im getting >400 ms spikes every 2-5 seconds.

I have little to no knowlege of networking can anybody help with this problem because it making multiplayer incredibly hard (also will attach so photos fr my phone)
