Ping Latency 75ms from Toronto?

To the guy talking about a ping of 75 being 3/4 of a second.....You do realise a ping of 75ms isnt 3/4 of a second right? 75ms ping is 0.075 seconds. So a ping of 100 is 0.1 second not 1 second.

My apologies for not reading the message thoroughly. Results;

1. Toronto Ontario, Canada - Toronto Ontario, Canada - Ping:39ms DL:14.64mbps UL:0.51

2. Toronto Ontario, Canada - Brasila - Ping:208ms DL:3.77mbps UL:0.45mbps

3.Toronto Ontario, Canada - Seoul, Korea - Ping:249ms DL:1.54mbps UL:0.48mbps

So with these results, what is the problem, why when it chooses me as host do I get booted out of games?

Unlike most here, I'm not claiming to know how any of this crap works. But, if ping doesn't mean squat, why does it search for games with <50ms ping,<75ms ping<,<100ms ping?

Have you ever played COD2? there was an actual ping meter in the lobby that showed everyone's ping, the higher the #, the worse they lagged.

Like I said, I don't know how this works or claim to but it must mean something......

You get this ping and latency from normal tests or servers?

That latency figure is wrong. I am with Virgin broadband too, at the same speed as you also. My latency has always been 150-160ms when testing the Xbox One, but that is because it is pinging from a US server. It doesn't test locally. This has been discussed
elsewhere, and is the same for everyone. It does not mean that you are gaming with a high latency.

Try testing your ping and speed on speedtest.net using a PC. My ping on there is between 0 and 3ms as it pings locally. If you have Titanfall take a look at the server it connects you to as it tells you the ping latency . It's usually around 30ms.
