Pier solar game won't open

Discus and support Pier solar game won't open in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I click on the game then all I get is a black screen. I tried deleting and reinstalling but it didn't help any suggestions?... Discussion in 'XBoX on Consoles' started by pkvas, Dec 10, 2014.

    Child of Light - can anyone recommend a similar game?

    This is as close as you'll get on the One

    Pier Solar and the Great Architects

    Max isn't going to be what you're looking for if you're leaning towards the FF/CoL style of games.

    Thomas Was Alone and Pier Solar and the Great Architects were just released for the One (at least in the US).

    Thomas Was Alone is an excellent indie 2D platformer and well worth a purchase. ( I own on PC and PS systems)

    Pier Solar is a HD remake of a Sega retro style RPG. It's not very good compared to others in the same genre but we won't see many of these on the One so if you're a fan of this type of game it's still very playable.

    I'd link the store pages for the above but the Microsoft store won't load Pier solar game won't open :(

    I've had this issue sometimes with other games. I find that more often then not a hard reset fixes the issue (hold the power button down for ~10 seconds to turn off the console and then turn it back on).

    I saw the trailer for Pier Solar just yesterday - it looks awesome for a classic-style JRPG. My brother might entertain the idea of picking it up once I show it to him. :)
