Pier Solar and the Great Architects - Black Screen

Hey mates, and here i am again with an interesting problem.

See, i love Sega Genesis games, and heard of "Solar Pier", then i found out that they did even

a Xbox One HD Version *Yay* But... and here is the point, it is not starting at all.

Just the good ol "Black Screen" ~ here is what i did to change my problem :

1) re-install - did not work (multiple times)

2) re-install from another marketplace (other language) - also not working

3) yelling..lots of - nope

Guys what should i do with it ? Is there a solution or did i trow 15 bucks away ?

Max isn't going to be what you're looking for if you're leaning towards the FF/CoL style of games.

 

Pier Solar and the Great Architect wont start and stay on black screen

I have the same problem. I tried to reinstall and i tried to delete my cache but nothing works. Help me making it work or give me a refund

 

Try these steps to see if it helps.

1. Head to Settings>Disc & Blu Ray

2. Click on Clear Persistent Storage 3 times

3. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down.

 

Sorry mate, nice idea but it`s not working. Any other solutions ?

I spotted some info that "could" help (maybe?) - IF i try to start the game without

beeing on my profile, then it gives me a little info box - afterwards, BAM Blackscreen.

I even tried to move the game from my external to my internal HDD ~ no success.

 

I'm not entirely sure why the game will not run on your console. Perhaps try contacting the developers to see what they suggest.

The same thing is happening to me. I came here hoping to find some answers. Any luck finding a solution elsewhere?

 

Actualy i am trying to get a response from the devs - nothing at the moment.

If they give me a real, and helpful solution then i will record it here

 

I got a message - first of all they know the issue, second they are working at a patch.

In the meantime we should delete our Xbox One Profile, then re-add it and this should fix

the problem! I hope this will help - See ya guys

 

I am also having this problem, and I have been through the entire troubleshooting checklist at:

One thing I noticed when trying to start the game... very briefly, between the "synching with the cloud" screen and the total black screen I see something that looks like "0%" before the black screen takes over. I have left this black screen on for an hour
(went to the grocery store, came back, still black) just in case there was some kind of update needed, but nothing.

It's good to know they're aware of the problem, but hopefully the fix won't take long. I don't have a lot of money to spend on games right now, being the holiday season, so it's really disappointing that my one splurge on myself is not working.

 

Diela, did you tried the method above ? It rly worked for me

Just go to Settings - on the right - there is a button "remove accounts",

press it - choose your account - and yes.

Then re-attach your old account and BAM it should work like a charm

Have had this game since the first day it was released (11/21) and after a dozen deletes and downloads, was never able to get it working. Finally playing thanks to all of you.

Had the same black screen, can confirm removing profile and re-adding also worked for me.
