Picture noise in Netflix App.

My Xbox has developed a major problem with the Netflix App.

I get what can only be described as picture noise on certain programs.

It looks like it's being played on a well worn VHS tape.

Its been happening for the last couple of weeks.

I first noticed it watching an episode of Dusk til Dawn. Certain shots were noisy like recorded on cheap VHS tape.

At first I thought it was just a badly recorded episode.

But I've seen it on other TV shows as well which is making me think something is wrong with either Netflix, my xbox, or my TV.

Today I decided to watch an episode of The 100 on Netflix Canada and again the same thing is happening.

So tried previous episode that I've watched before and they were doing the same.

I've already tried changing the HDMI cable.

So is this happening to anyone else?

I've just tried the Amazon Prime app and that seems to be crystal clear picture so now thinking either there is either some strange bug with my xbox that only effects Netflix or the Netflix app itself.

Netflix now has Choppy (not smooth panning) picture since update on xbox one

I have noticed that the Netflix App now has a bad, choppy picture since the last update. The picture does not pan or scroll smoothly anymore. I have compared it to other streaming apps on xbox one and even the netflix app on 360. They all work perfectly.
It is not the motionflow on my sony tv it is the actually app. Movies are unwatchable now.

Anyone else noticed this?

 

G'day Malacath! Since other apps are showing content clearly for you, can you try viewing your Netflix shows on another device, like a PC or a smart phone? Watch the same episode of the same show in which you noticed the visual noise on your console and
see if it still shows up on the other device. Please let us know the result! I would check those shows (The 100, Dusk til Dawn) myself but I'm afraid I don't see them in my own Netflix subscription.

I've just downloaded Netflix to my ps4 and am seeing the same problems with the same programs.

So it looks like the problem isn't my xbox but with Netflix itself or maybe my TV.
