Picture is not showing on TV

I have no picture on my TV but I have audio. It works for a while, but all of the sudden I lose the picture. To fix this I have to unplug the system. Is there any way I can prevent this from happening?

If you reset your video settings while connected to your TV and it's still not showing picture but showing on other televisions, it sounds like the issue is on the TV side of things. Do you have another TV in your home you can test?

 

No picture

I am having trouble seeing a picture. Once the console is turned, the tv says NO SIGNAL, then I have reset display setting an its still not showing no picture or sound. I hooked it up to another tv still the same thing. Please help!!

 

I have it also, seems the the last patch messed up something with the coding. All we can do is sit and wait for microsoft to launch another patch to fix the mess but who knows when that will happen. Anyway, the easiest way to *fix it* is to hold power for
8-10 secs then unplug wait 30 seconds and then plug it back in. It will fix it for around 40-60 minutes (for me atleast) then it will go black again.

 

Try just jiggling the HDMI input on the back of the X1, that used to work for me until the first patch fixed the picture not showing up.

 

Same problem. I had this once the first time I turned the Xbox One on, but it's happened two or three more times since the update. It hasn't interrupted a game or anything yet, so my main concern is whether this is going to continue to be a minor inconvenience
or if it's a sign of a bigger problem with my console.

 

Temporary solution to this is to hold down the Xbox button on your console for about 10 seconds to reset it. This should give you TV picture back. Hopefully it'll be fixed in an upcoming update.
