Picture intermittently flashing black for a split second

This started yesterday out of nowhere. The picture goes black for a split second then goes back to normal. It does it once every few minutes, but is also on occasion doing it several times, strobe like.

Checked the HDMI lead by swapping it out and also tried other inputs on the tv. When it does it, the sound stays on, and also the info box on my tv, that comes up with resolution etc when you change inputs, doesn't come on, which suggests the tv still seems
to receive a video signal even when it goes black.

It's out of warranty as it is a day one console, and I do have the Xbox One S on order. But I'd kinda like to have this one working as it is my day one machine.

Not sure what else I can try? And no idea what MS charge for repairs here in the U.K? Cheers

Issue with Live TV and Choppy Picture

Ok so everything is setup properly with my comcast cable box, but the picture when i go into live TV continues to "pulse" every few seconds. Theres full picture and sound then it hiccups to a black screen for a split second then back to the TV picture, this
continues constantly...

PLEASE HELP! I don't want to disconnect my cable box and not run it thru my x1!

Flashing Gaming Picture

My gamer picture flashes in xbox guide. It flashes for 20 seconds, then stops for 3 seconds and flashes for 20 seconds again. I have deleted profile, clear cache 3 times, changed gamer picture, switched to a different account then switched back to my account,
deleted system update and then re-downloaded it, changed profile picture on xbox live again on xbox.com, checked profile on second xbox. Still flashes on second xbox and deleted profile, cleared cache 3 times and then redownloaded again.......my gamer picture
is still flashing. Is there anything I can do?

Any new lights? Does it happen when watching TV with other devices? Could be a lighting issue.

If nothings new and you don't have dyeing florescent lights then I would look at the HDMI cord try another one.

Check with another TV if you got another to see if it works or not that way you know if the Xbox is the issue. You can also try changing the display settings for refresh rate and resolution see if it happens under different settings.

This is EXACTLY how my system is set up. Sound is working perfectly but the video is flashing. Not a constant flash but mainly a black screen then as if the HDR mode keeps resetting, the banner in the upper right corner of the screen signifying hdr has
initialized will get brighter, image that should be showing on screen will appear for a split second and then back to black screen all while the atmos sound never waivers.

Sorta. It has an image for a split second then it's black until it repeats.

Slight update, it changed to the white light with no flashing for a split second. It was unplugged from my laptop but it wouldn't turn off, so I plugged it back in, and then it changed back to slow flashing orange light.

Thank you, i will open a ticket. But getting a screenshot will be hard because the "Not enough space to download" message only flashes on screen for a split second.
