Picture gets dark after a few minutes

Hello,

i wanted to watch some streams with twitch but the xbox goes darker after a few minutes

dont find anything in the options. any help?

Tv screen grows darker while playing...

We just brought a new 250 gig slim model so we could play it on on our high def tv. We hooked up the console with the hdmi cable. The picture is bright and vivid and looks wonderful. Then about 45 seconds to a minute after starting a game, the tv screen
gets darker.

It doesn't matter what game, it does this on all games- even arcade downloads. If we hit the picture button on the tv remote, the picture becomes bight and vivid again. Once again after nearly a minute, the screen gets visibly darker.

You can still see what is going on and there still is a picture. But it is as if the brightness has been turned down a lot.

The tv is fine with movies and other game systems. Which leads me to believe that it is the xbox 360 that might be a problem.

Has anyone heard of this happening? Any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Installing Game Does Nothing!

It only spins for a few minutes. But it evntaully stops spinning. Dark Souls also does this. If it doesn't stop, then idk what to tell you. For me it usually stops spinning after 3 - 5 minutes.

 

This is the screen saver kicking in. It seems to be an issue that was introduced in a previous update. I don't recall whether the issue has been resolved. Make sure your console is updated completely. Not an optimum solution but you should be able to
use your controller to keep the screen saver from activating.
