Physical Xbox 360 games will not read in my Xbox One

When the console is turned on, hold the power button on the front of the console for a full 10 seconds to turn it off.

When it’s off wait about 30 seconds and turn it back on and try again. Hopefully it will work.

How recently did you buy it? Can you exchange it where you bought it?

You could try a power cycle on your console by holding the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until turns off. Turn it on and try again.

No I can not. I bought the console in amazon usa on a trip I made, and it is still under warranty. But Microsoft does not want to recognize the guarantee in Argentina

Should I press the circle button for 10 seconds with the console on? or off?

From what I understand, the Xbox One isn't really reading game data from the disc. I *think* this is how it works:

1. Insert 360 game disc of game that is confirmed to be compatible.

2. Xbox One reads the title of the game, then queues a free *download* of their compatible version.

3. When you play the game, the Xbox One is reading data from the version downloaded to your hard drive, not from the physical disc.
