Physical game question

First let me give a bit of background relevant to this post. I am a gamer that buys disc versions of games. I will download the digital freebies offered from Deals With Gold. Given the option of buying a full game either digital or physical though, I
choose physical every time. I am a collector and do not trade games whatsoever. I did not start until the 360 came out. I have over 50 games for 360, 20 for my PS3, 9 for my XB1, and 5 for PS4. I buy what I know I will keep forever. I know I represent
a small percentage of gamers that are like this but now I will get to my point.

Why are people that prefer to buy disc versions of games given the short end of the deal for midnight release? Digital purchasers gain the ability to download a game before release so they can play at 12:01am. Why can't there be a pre-downloadable version
of a game that requires disc to launch?

I only ask because my friends are all talking about how they will be on Halo 5 tonight at midnight. I will not be so fortunate. I cannot ask them to wait for me because that time remains unknown as to when I can play. I do not think it is fair that because
I want the physical version, I am unable to play with my friends to enjoy that initial excitement as a group.

This will be what happens for other games too like Gears 4.

Microsoft could you ever offer downloadable games before release that require disc to accommodate to players that prefer physical copies?

A physical disc, it seems that it's only this game too. other games from discs install perfectly.

Only one answer at this point, a damaged disc.

Sorry to hear You're Issue its How the System works i Understand collecting game is fun but i Also Think the same here and there but its not Half bad Because you still get to play the game in the end with them and i don't Think MS Will Do that
I would think it would Need to sync the Games data when getting the disc which i bet it don't All installing it does is help Keep the game Running faster and Keeps you're Data Saved if any corruption Occurs

Your saves are all up in the cloud and will work fine irrespective of your copy being digital or physical same goes for DLC, it'll all work fine. As Smwutches says, the only difference now is that you don't need the disc

The game will play exactly like it did on the disc. You just no longer need the disc.
