    Physical copy xbox one games on xbox series S


    If i have a physical copy of a game that I have installed on my xbox one, can I have it converted to a digital version to play on the xbox series S, or do i have to rebuy the same game digitally to play it on the series S?

    Xbox series s isn't the same as xbox one s

    Xbox one games are just xbox one games .

    Series consoles have s or x requirements physical or digital plus the power difference

    Yes, Xbox One game discs should work on the Xbox Series X consoles, as they are backwards compatible. So if you buy the physical copy of Hogwarts Legacy on the Xbox One, you should be able to play it on the Xbox Series X consoles, However If you don't have a Digital Copy or Disk Reader technology that reads disks and install them on you're Console it'll will not work on Series S as it's all Digital.

    No he can't. Xbox Series S has no Blu-ray optical drive.

    If they bought a Series S they would need to re-buy their games again as digital purchases.
