Phone won't rotate.

Hello.

Whilst trying to play a game on the Xbox cloud gaming service it would not rotate into landscape. I use a verified controller (kishi universal) and my phone is relatively new (pixel 6) any help is appreciated.

Hello Richard, this is really strange because the App usually starts horizontally, have you tried to check in the phone's options if it doesn't have the orientation locked?

Have you tried starting the App and only then placing the controls?

I've the same issue with Samsung S23 Ultra+Gamesir X2 Pro(xbox) controller. Neither the app not the web versioned(installed) won't rotate. I tried it with my previous phone Huawei P30 Pro had the same problem there too.

I reinstalled several times but had no success.

There is a setting on phones to turn off the rotate function. Have you tried turning off rotate to see if that helps?

i've noticed that some of the chests no matter how slow i rotate the analog stick it just won't trigger so try rotating it in the other direction. it has worked for me but can't say if it matters which way you rotate or if it is just random luck that it
worked for me

Rental servers is good, you can search for specific map rotations and such. I've said it before and I will again, find clan servers and you won't get kicked or banned. I've favourited all the clan servers and it's good cause they're filled most of the time
with good map rotations.
