phone scam for xbox live points

I was playing payday2.

I recieved 6 messages from 2 different gamertags.

Saying- plz ring for free Microsoft points (will not post number).

Phoned Xbox support.

Got told to report tags and messages (I already had).

Also got told to post on here (incase someone needed the tags and number).

I hope no one calls the number that they supply.

They are just sitting in a unused lobby on game.

Points/Survey I completed yesterday

This is actually from a scam site. There are no official Xbox surveys that will give you 4000 points and they would not ask for a cell phone number if you did take a survey.

any free ms points except for bing or xbox rewards program is most likely a scam

don't go looking for it

its also against the rules to ask for free money because usually those scams will take your account



earn your own money live life and play fair

Nothing can be done from the forums, but good on you for filing a report against these guys. Hopefully justice falls swiftly, provided there isn't a big stack of work sitting on top of their file. Wish the Support guys would get clarification on how forums
interact with Policy & Enforcement Team, and CoC violations in general.

please do not bump posts from 7 months ago but it is 18004MYXBOX in US/Can

 

im surprised anyone found this post we had the issue months ago
