    Hi, I recently bought a new Xbox series X and I went to subscribe to Xbox Game Pass just to discover I have to change my phone number because I changed it several years ago. Do I really have to wait 30 days to play my new Xbox because I changed my phone number because at that point I'm better off returning the Xbox or making a new account

    Yes Matthew, you do have to wait 30 days whenever you change a security information on a Microsoft account before you can regain access. I'm sorry about that.

    I am so sorry you are having issues receiving emails to your verification Microsoft account.

    The best place to start is to check your internet connectivity and your connectivity to your Outlook. Do you receive the email on another device?

    It's also good to check your Junk Email settings to check if you have blocked or removed safe senders and to check your filters at the bottom.

    If that doesn't work, check your junk and storage. (Can be found in the Storage setting under general)

    If none of this works, try changing your password.
