Phoenix Point saves fail

Hello.

I got myself gamepass and installed Phoenix Point Year One Edition. After few hours i got a save error where game says it got error during saving and i couldn't save. Good to mention that i could only use WSAD and mouse left key when the error was occuring missions. I then reinstalled the game but error kept happening. I uninstalled the game and installed regular Phoenix Point, also available in gamepass and it keeps happening still. I have no idea how to fix it and there's literally no thread online about this error message happening in this specific way. I'm guessin the cloud saving is probaby messing up the save feature. Can i somehow disable cloud saves to try fixing the issue or do you have any idea how to fix this?

Okay so i tried the two solutions from replies but none helped at all. I tried going offline with my pc, turned game on, and guess what, saving works all the time. I don't want to disable my card every single time i play the game. This is just annoying how cloud can't get a hold of the save and it messes up saving with my internet connection on. Gotta note that when i turn net on while game is also up, saving stops working right away. What the hell is happening with the xbox app and cloud saves that just go bonkers?

Regarding your issue, I would recommend that you please try first to uninstall the Xbox app on your PC.

Press the Windows Button then type Services.

Right-click over the Services App from the list of results.

Then select Run as Administrator

Scroll to the bottom and find the following services:

IP Helper

Xbox Live Auth Manager,

Xbox Live Game Save,

Xbox Live Networking Service,

Gaming Services.

Do this with each of the services listed above.

Right-click over the service and select Properties.

Find the Startup type section and make sure it’s set to Automatic.

If the service isn’t started, click Start to start the services.

Click Apply and OK to save changes.

Then try the game again, please

Some games in Gamepass / Xbox (Beta) / whatever its called keep their saves in the same folder as the game itself and when you uninstall the game, it deletes all your saves without a warning.

It could just be that the game didnt upload the save to the cloud in this particular instance, it's happened to me before
