Philippines MS Live account unable to Import Dance Central 1 to Dance Central 3, solution ...

I have a Philippines MS Live Account, I am able to buy and pay for games on this account.

I bought 'Dance Central 1' few years ago when I bought my XBOX 360 + Kinect. Last month, I bought Dance Central 3 and found out I can import my DC1 to my DC3. But whenever I go to "Buy More Songs", it says "No Dance Central Store data found." etc. I've already
turned the Family Setting off but still the problem continues.

I need to create a US account to enter the 'Buy More Songs' menu. I did and I was able to enter the buy more songs. Problem is, I need to pay 4.99USD to complete the import. But my US account can't pay because my US account doesn't match the billing address
on my PayPal and Visa that I use to pay. Is there any solution so I can Import my DC1 into my DC3? I believe I have the right to have my DC1 content on my DC3 as I paid them both and it is part of the feature. I prefer that my original Philippines MS Live
account be able to Import it as it is my main account with all my achievements on other games.

Philipines is not a supportred region

2nd you can't add a philipines credit card toan us account prevent fraud that's something built into your card

Your credit card must match the billing address on Xbox live

You can only use us payment methods including currency cards on us accounts

Is dance central digital or disk?

 

Both my Dance Central 1 and Dance Central 3 are Disk, my DC1 has a 16-character code that can be used for importing to my DC3. If Philippines is not a supported region, why do they sell DC officially in the Philippines?

 

The disks can be imported doesn't mean you have offical right to their dlc

If you ate using a us disk then you aren't using the correct disk

Disks are different from dlc

Dlc and online services have to have a license to operate

Hardware is the same but that's handled by retail level not online

 

You can only get disks from philipines or your local Asia region

If you are getting a NTSC disk your issue is with the store as the only ones you can legally get in a pal region is pal

 

Nothing stops a store from importing disks but the issue is with them if you get a NTSC disk and have a pal console which would cause issues

For the best experience with Xbox live your account region has to match your actual region

Disks and hardware is retail licenses which are easier to get then online as hardware and games can be blocked

Online would requirr region locks to ensure they comply with content laws

 

If I understand region lock correctly, the CD will not work if its not for my region. The game is playable, both DC1 and DC3, the problem only comes when trying to import DC1 into DC3. Doesn't sound like a region lock problem to me. The problem is that
if I'm using Philippines MS Live account, I can't access Buy More songs feature in order to import the CD. I need a solution on how I can access the Buy More Songs feature while using my Philippines MS Live account. No bs about region lock thing because
both CD works and both CD was bought on a reputable legal store in the Philippines (Toys 'R Us).

 

What you are talking about is two separate things

Disks doesn't garentee that you have digital content

There is no philipines disks

You have pal and you have NTSC and ntscj

That's it

However digital content Is completely different it is only available if your region is supported which Philippines isn't

Now to add money to an us account you have to add a us credit card or a us currency as philippines currency cards don't exist nor are the credit card supported

This does not solve region lock errors

 

As long as the console region and disk region match you shouldnt have an issue with disks unless you are lucky and they are region free disks which you can check at playasia

As mentioned before you can't add a philippines credit card to a us account

So you may have issues download us content for DC from outside the us

Not to mention it may not work as disks and dlc usually has to match their regions

So if you have a pal disk and trying to get NTSC content you may have issues

If you read the game box it does mention that as a disclaimer

Online play and dlc is not available on all regions and only if you are in a supported region

My Console is NTCS-J

Both CDs on NTSC-J

I unerstand DLC may not be available on ALL region, I assume my region may not be included. BUT I'm not after DLC, I'm only after importing my DC1 to my DC3 that's all!

 

Exactly my point! I have no problem with mismatched region on my hardware and CDs. What I'm only after is for me to import DC1 into my DC3 and that using my Philippines MS Live account because I cannot use US MS Live account as I cannot pay for the fee
to import DC1 into DC3 using US MS Live account, only using Philippines MS Live account can I pay the fees.

Now if you say to me that I cannot use my Philippines MS Live account to import my DC1 into my DC3, then give me other solution that I can import my DC1 into DC3. Tell me how I can import DC1 into my DC3 even using US MS Live but make sure you provide me
solution on how I can pay for the fee. Out of curiousity, I checked PCGameSupply if they sell like MS Live credits so I can just buy credits for MS Live and just load it up on my US MS Live account, but there seem no such thing as MS Live Credits. That's
all I need, DC1 to DC3 whatever it takes.

 

According to the thread you posted it should work except you do need the code or a in your words a payment option for the us account either currency card or us credit card
