This is why I left this forum. It's impossible to have a conversation with people that don't grasp the fact that a "console" and a "PC" are both computers. Open them up and they both have the same parts, the only difference is the operating systems.

No you just think we don't grasp that.that is still on you. You also are still up to your old tricks of not answering a question but by saying "I never said that" when clearly the page before you did. COnsole has always contain PArts that are also in PC's
they also contain parts more commonly found in Mobile phones and tablets but I don't call the Console a MObile device or think gaming on Console is anything like gaming on a mobile which I cannot stand.

In the good old U.S. that is a question. You are asking me if the Xbox already runs on Win 10 hence the "?".

I assume that it means the same thing in most English speaking parts of the world......but apparently not yours.

 

I wish Nintendo would release a powerhouse of a console, though believe it will just be another gimmicky toy. Shame really. If they came up with something good, they'd be my second console over Sony; just for the likes of Zelda and JRPGs.

My Dreamcast runs windows CE, it's the best PC I ever owned, My original xb has a celeron (Not a pc celeron) , How is this even a topic? A console is priority parts that are based off but not the same as pc parts contained in a case specifically to play
games, a pc is what ever you want it to be with many different parts, consoles are equal, pc's are not unless your a mac fan or on the "1 laptop for 1 child" program. The original XB was only good once it was hacked and full of home brew like emulators, in
it's legit status it was quite boring. The only reason that half the internet claims the consoles are dead and the PC's have won is because of the basic fact that there are more pc's and pc owners in this world that can latch on and feel special with their
special machines that blow the consoles away, apparently.

Xb1 doesn't need a hardware update, it does need to ban half of its user base and let the gamers that don't need a medal for what they own get on with life.

 

In relation to what you posted its a query not a question. Hence the ? Either way you didn't know X1 already runs on a form of Windows 10.

Still not getting why there is a question mark after that....if your point is the Xbox runs a Win 10 OS then you just say it...the "?" turns into you asking me if it runs a Win 10 OS even with the "but".

And actually it doesn't. It has Win 10 "core" (had 8 at launch) which is just a bunch of API's that aid in compatibility in which the OS gets built on top of. It's not a OS. I'm not sure if anything is using it at this point but it would probably be things
like Netflix app, Hulu etc that would in theory run on any Windows hardware with the 10 core.
