    This argument has never made any sense to me..... the VAST majority of us pay for XBL gold for the multiplayer experience. The VAST majority. So of they brought Netflix and every other app from behind the paywall, how many would cancel their xbl gold?
    i'll tell you....6 people.

    We pay for multiplayer... all the rest is gravy.

    Like I invented the ALL IN ONE thing. Give me a break. No I do not want to keep every device hooked up and yes the xbox one should be the best media player out of them all.

    The Gold is not all about online gaming anyways, the gaming companies provide the servers for that most of the time anyways. GTAV proved that. If Gold was for online playing only it should be maybe 20 per year.

    And yes Gold IS all about multiplayer gaming..... for the vast vast VAST majority of us Gold is all about multiplayer online gaming. Period.

    There is definitely a case for making apps free from the pay wall (especially paid apps like Netflix). Gold is worth it for the online gaming alone. The service has always been fantastic and is the reason I renew my subscription every year. However, there
    is a whole other potential customer base out there who would use the Xbox One primarily for watching TV and not for gaming. They shouldn't have to pay for a gold subscription as well to use the TV and movie apps.

    The thing is you're NOT paying more - you're actually paying the exact same price. For example, you still have to pay for Xbox Live to use Xbox Live and you still have to pay for Netflix to use Netflix. The price is not the problem, so anyone who says that
    you're paying more is simply wrong.

    The REAL problem is that because you can't access the content on your Xbox console unless you ALSO have Xbox Live, you're simply not getting the full benefits of the features/services.

    There IS a difference - make no mistake.

    I might understand some app's stop being behind a paidwall. To match competeion brand version. The XBOX MUSIC app needs a monthly alllownces to gold members without the pass. To get some limite free listing time. And app's with gamerscore can be behind
    a paidwall. As long it has online featueras to it.
