netflix is best one xbox one though, there is a reason why its behind the pay wall!!

Yep, I agree Microsoft needs to stop locking apps behind the paywall because not everyone plays online multiplayer, but people need to research before buying.

 

Netflix plays in super HD on many free apps. I pay for gold and get less. Confusing

 

If Netflix not streaming in Super-HD on the Xbox One means that much to you, I suggest you try and make Microsoft/Netflix aware of this because I doubt many people who use Netflix on the Xbox One care.

 

Yes getting the best experience of each movie I watch is important. There is only one chance at watching a movie unless its airplane or Vegas vacation.

I might understand some app's stop being behind a paidwall. To match competeion brand version. The XBOX MUSIC app needs a monthly alllownces to gold members without the pass. To get some limite free listing time. And app's with gamerscore can be behind
a paidwall. As long it has online featueras to it.

 

It’s confusing how people are so backwards these days. How can something that’s good for everyone be bad? Not one person is being impacted in a negative way it’s all positive for everyone. Having something that’s free everywhere else be locked behind a paywall
is just wrong. It has nothing to do with being cheap, I’m confused by this thought process. It seems like some type of Elitist mindset, paying more for something doesn't make you a hero, it makes you a fool. No one should ever defend a company for such practices,
they’ll only take more.

 

The thing is you're NOT paying more - you're actually paying the exact same price. For example, you still have to pay for Xbox Live to use Xbox Live and you still have to pay for Netflix to use Netflix. The price is not the problem, so anyone who says that
you're paying more is simply wrong.

The REAL problem is that because you can't access the content on your Xbox console unless you ALSO have Xbox Live, you're simply not getting the full benefits of the features/services.

There IS a difference - make no mistake.

@ieh I dont think its an elitist mindset. I think its more of why are you complaining about the apps being behind a paywall when you dont have to subscribe? If its free on Apple tv then go use it there or whatever device you choose. I thought everyone just
wanted to play games on a games console anyway?

 

Correct GG technically your not paying more for netflix. Because anyone with half a brain wouldn't sign up to live just to have access to netflix. It's more like a punishment to the customer if you don't purchase live. Its just bad PR and makes the company
look greedy. I understand what your saying but what about people who don't want it? Or people who let it run out and sign back up later when more friends are playing a new game? It's a free app it should be free to access. If the features/services are that
important to the machine, live should be mandatory for system operation.
