Phil spencer is killing xbox!

Im a long time hardcore xbox fan been one since the beginning, but over the last few years it has been on decline i barely buy games anymore and when i do they pretty much suck and all of the few good games have exclusive or early content on ps4 that use
to be on xbox like COD, destiny (which is made by bungie who made the original halo that is an xbox only) which helped the xbox 360 dominate the ps3 but with the decisions that are being made by the leaders of xbox now like only focusing on xbox only titles
which i could understand if those titles were any good but most of them dont live up to expectations, its like the head of xbox is not even a gamer and is only thinking about making money now and not thinking about the gamers and as i see more and more gamers
switching to ps4 it is only gonna mean less money xbox makes and further kill my favorite console, phil spencer said that xbox was gonna get back focused on gamers but as of yet i havent seen it hopefully Microsoft does something about this soon before its
too late... Are there any more xbox fans who feel the same as i do??

I gotta ask.... Is your name Don Mattrick? The xbox360 did not dominate the ps3. The first 1-2 years of the one were a disaster and it still sold more than the 360 during the same amount of time....this after the horrible decisions of Mattrick. Do you really
care about a couple of COD timed exclusives? If so, good luck with that.

 

you should do your research before commenting the 360 definitely outsold the ps3 and had better games and i care about the quality of games and content its obvious you dont you sound like a business man not a gamer

By the end of their life they had nearly the same in total consoles sold...that does not equal domination (words do matter). Quality of games is very subjective. Many claim the ps3 had better games (for example, because the 360 had nearly no jrpg games and
the ps3 did).

I don't feel that way. Sure there could be more exclusives, but I definitely think gamers are their focus. They made backwards compatibility possible. That is what gamers wanted. Scorpio is right around the corner. That is for avid console gamers.

I definitely think Phil's focus is on gamers.

So Microsoft aren't prepared to chuck money at developers just so xbox users can get dlc earlier?

If they did then no doubt they would have to increase the price of a years xbox live subscription or something similar which i'm pretty sure would make more people mad.

Over the past few years xbox has had the better & more exclusives.At the moment the PlayStation has better & more exclusives.It will no doubt change again.

As for timed dlc,so what?

Getting a bit of overpriced dlc a few days later than the PlayStation is hardly going to lead to the xbox's downfall.

A lot of the things you have on your xbox are what gamers wanted so to say they are not focused on gamers is a load of nonsense.

 

As I have tried to explain to a lot of people, the only reason that we know about sooooo many PS4 exclusives is that the last even that Sony had was last September or October, the last event Microsoft had was E3. Those four or five months is a looooong
time in game development, its literally the difference between a game being able to be shown off for the first time or not.

Also i know people like to forget about these things, but Microsoft actually has quite a few exclusives that were shown of years ago that as of yet still haven't been released, I mean look at Below or Cuphead, both shown of at the Xbox One launch event (I
think) and both still not released.

I think Microsoft is doing fine for exclusives, and it wouldn't surprise me if come E3 Microsoft shows of a tonne of really good looking games (one of which could be Crackdown 3 running on Scorpio)
