Xbox boss Phil Spencer has been a big proponent of bringing together the Xbox and PlayStation fanbases. In the past he has praised Sony for its press
conferences, its success with the PlayStation 4, and even said you're
not a real gamer if you root for one console to fail over another.

Continuing to lead by example, Spencer has sent a message to Naughty Dog and PlayStation's Shuhei Yoshida on Twitter, congratulating them on a job well done with Uncharted
4: A Thief's End.

Oh, you just didn't do that! Why!? Why would you post something like that? You've just ruined the concept that console manufacturers have to be locked in a mortal combat competition where the bottom line is destroy the other company's sales and push them
out of the business, as opposed to simply being a competitor in the industry.

Why, you've blurred the line in the sand for so many people that are firmly entrenched in their console of choice's battle for supremacy. How could any one console manufacturer ever hope to stand, holding bloodied sword, atop a pile of its battered competitors
and brandish the coveted chalice now with this blatant display of mutual respect?

This has dealt a crushing blow to the 'console warz'. I... I just... don't know what you think you had to gain by this. I really don't...

I never thought for one moment Phil Spenser, didn't like PS (didn't realise his initials until now lol)

 

Naughty Dog are one of the best developers in the industry in my opinion.

 

And the G they will release shortly is the most antisapated current gen title to date. My opinion!

Never any competion outside of a free market economy, as both sides often co-op to play against the middle. Or did we not learn anthing from the old USSR?

 

I only just played the 1st uncharted a month ago and it was my 1st ps3 game, the other 2 should be a breeze before U4. Phil just isn't stuck in the 80's were sega and nintendo battled out every day.

Phil is why I went back to Xbox. I like his honesty and vision. I never owned a PS3 so I never played the Uncharted series. Wasn't really looking forward to the final game TBH. I just picked up the remastered version on PS4 over the weekend and wow is this
series awesome. It looks better than most next gen games.

I thought Tomb Raider was amazing, but now I agree with everyone that says it's just an Uncharted clone. It really is. Judging by the reviews, it's a system seller.

 

If you go by release dates, the first Tomb Raider was released in 1996; Unchartedrake's Fortune was 2007.

 

Yeah but the original tomb raider is nothing like uncharted but the rebbot does play like a reskined uncharted but you could say indain jones game before tomb raider and uncharted and he the daddy of action treasure hunters lol
