No idea, nobody on these forums will know what BC games are coming, your best bet would be to tweet Phil Spencer and ask him personally (and I'm not talking about
this Phil Spencer)

And two more exclusives coming to PC : Forza and Gears of war ultimate edition (i guess Gears 4 will be on PC,too).

Now,i wait for Halo on PC announcement.

Funny,because Phil Spencer was saying (in an article) that BC on Xbox is a long term vision ,i guess this is the future of Xbox.A BC platform with some Windowns 10 games.

If it's not goth from the old crowd! I'm at work and have no sound etc etc, But this original Xb games, surely they will be playable on the original XB1? I mean the Xb was merely a custom celeron with an exploding psu I'd love to play original xb games
again, Sony have the PS2 titles now on PS4 and that's been a blast. I have actually kept my original XB games, it was an awesome console.

 

Its so nice to see some of the past regulars popping in the last couple of days.

 

Likewise, No offense to anyone new but it's great to see some familiar names. I moved and the XB1 has been boxed since Jan, Long story.

On topic, Listened to the post and it's all good news tbh, allot has changed in my 6 month MIA but this is great news.

 

Think this was a given.

So many developers from back then no longer exist so god knows who has the rights to a lot of those games.

The PGR series & the ESPN games are a couple.I know Crytec own Timesplitters so there is some hope.

 

Are they going to enable Live for those original Xbox games that come to the service? Imagine all the people flocking back to Halo 2's multiplayer and ignoring the latest offering.

 

I don't bother to keep old consoles or their games around because I'm usually not disappointed by "newer, better" and I'm not all that nostalgic... at least to the point where I regret getting rid of them. I still enjoy playing some games that are a few
years old here and there (like the OG Mass Effect series), but not really going back more than one console generation.

That being said, for a revisit to Halo 2's MP... I'd scour the local game stores, the internet... anywhere that I thought might have a copy and I'd play the hell out of it... and love every minute of doing so. I doubt I'd ever have such a good time playing
an older game online while, at the same time, making a point to the devs of the latest [disaster of an] offering.

 

Still have 2 og xbox's,a normal one & a crystal one.

Probably got about 40 og xbox games & still play KOTOR & Jade Empire a fair bit.

I mentioned to online side of it in another thread,they added online to Phantom Dust & I assume Crimson Skies will have online multiplayer so I wonder if it will just be a feature on revamped versions of og xbox games.

 

Could you imagine that? I'd finally get to play H2 for real on the xb. Also I never finished, Mafia, Obscure and a few other open worlds. The biggest and best though, Elder Scrolls Morrowind, No not the new Elder scrolls but Morrowind on the original.
