On a serious note, im sure Titanfall is a great game for a lot of people (sales numbers show it) just as COD is. I however have no interest in it, I wouldn't own it even if it was a ps4 exclusive mostly because my head would explode, my eyeballs would fall
out and my kipper teeth would start to rot and smell (well smell worse)

 

^ lol! Same happened to me so I started playing Snakeater on the 360 to reverse the effect.

 

You should try eating snakes with kipper teeth, the texture is horrendous!

I would express my opinion but right now I can't be bothered with people taking offence because it doesn't match their opinion

 

I remember someone taking offence on an independent forum I use, basically I said where I can I'll always game on console rather than PC, for me it's just easier etc, they really went nuts over this comment lol

I said earlier I just don't get the hostility you get between the owners ( some, not all ) of different consoles, why some really care so much about it. Do some of these fanboys start arguing with friends because they got a pair of NIKE and they bought a
pair of ADDIDAS?

For the people that prefer PS4, will you enjoy it any less when you play it next knowing I prefer XB1? well if you do or it grinds your gears that I prefer something else, well you might of made the wrong choice.

Maybe in the future there won't be no Xbox, Playstation etc, we will all just have one box in the house and download games straight to it, what will the fanboys argue about then? I guess we will go back to the good old days of .. "Battlefield Vs COD" lol

The ease of use thing for me doesn't hold water any longer.

Drivers and system updates are installed automatically. Just like the Xbox One.

My 360 and PS3 controllers are recognised automatically. Just as peripherals are on the XBox One.

Once installed from disc, or digital download, my games are updated automatically. Just like on the Xbox One.

My game saves are automatically backed up to the cloud. Just as they are on the Xbox One.

If something should go wrong, you can fix it yourself most of the time. Unlike the Xbox One.

These days there isn't any substantial difference between gaming on PC or the consoles. I'm not really sure how it is easier on one platform over the other.

In all honesty. I go where the cheaper games are.

Have to say, i've always had a fully capable gaming PC alongside my console for the last 3 gen's, its always been more powerful than the console, i'm upgrading my current PC in a couple of months and it'll be significantly more powerful than both PS4 and
X1, I will still, like the last 3 gen's, be using my console as my primary gaming machine, and to be honest its more down to the community side of things than anything else - all my friends are on xbox

To be honest fella my comment about "consoles being easier" was made about a year ago, probably a little more. It always stuck in my mind because how the person in question went off on me, it was like I insulted his wife or something lol

I still use my PC for the strategy games but not enough to comment myself how easy it is these days. For me where the majority of my friends and family are on Xbox One, it's just easy for me to turn it on, start a party and away we go.

I never got this brand loyalty, well I get it in the sense that I prefer Microsoft over anyone else when it comes to gaming, or even that I prefer Samsung TVs over other brands, I never got it though where people get so heated about it all. It always makes
me chuckle when you see people on here ... "Xbox One is crap" .. Fair enough that might be their views but it's as if they can't accept others love it, hey ho.

Your right though, people do seem to have to justify their decision ( and it happens on both sides ) which always tells me their not as happy with it as they make out.

Maybe one day we can all just get on with talking about the games we like, instead of the constant bickering, probably just wishful thinking on my part lol

 

I agree. Many of you who see me post will likely know that I don't own a PS4 and my PC (Laptop) has about as much power as a zinc battery. That doesn't mean I can't respect other peoples choice in gaming. You learn a lot from how someone presents themselves
on here and I find it fascinating that users will carry a fire stick trying to round up a mob because someone suggested their console is 2nd best. Truth be told, there is no second best unless your looking at numbers.

Well that's a shocker I confess. That they read the forum that is.

Problem is I'm not sure what two way feedback he's talking about. Everything seems to go one way.

 

The 2 way feed could be considered as that video HOG posted. We were all vocal that the xboxone as announced was not the xboxone we wanted.

In the video he says he read/listened and learned and hopes to take the direction we as "gamers" want the xboxone to going forward.

He said "Games" and "Gamers" a lot, but right now its a lot of words, to me personally I'm seeing things in a positive light and I'm looking forward to Xboxones future. But we better see some evidence of the change at E3!

Well I must admit I am a little shocked too. I mean no disrespect to the teams higher up but if they read, I would of imagined they would of posted at least a handful of times too.

I wont grumble that they are reading though, I just wonder where lol.
