Phantom sign ins

I've had multiple friends report to me that it shows my console signing into Live on and off multiple times during the day when my console is off and there's nothing in the house to trigger this to occur. I have my Kinect on but the lens is covered up,
is there any reason this occurs? There's no ghost in the house saying 'Xbox on' either.

Black Phantoms!

^ When a gravelord puts down a gravelord sign, it will pick 3 random players ( Or 2 maybe ) and place black phantoms in their world. You can then find the gravelord sign and invade their world to kill them, and get rid of the black phantoms in your own world.

Thinking about it, I've invaded a gravelord multiple times in a row in anor londo, but I have no memory of seeing a black phantom...

No I meant summoned as a phantom, not a dark spirit. The soapstone glitched again also with me invading someone's world as a red phantom (even though the soapstone was white... the ring wasn't equipped that time and i was sure i used the white sign stone
as the sign was white)

 

Is it possible that you used your account on another console in which another person is signing in with your account?

 

Nope, I have my profile password protected and it's only on a family member's Xbox who has his own account, does it possibly show a sign in when the Xbox turns on to download game updates? That's the only thing I wasn't sure about.

 

If you have the console set to turn on to perform updates while you are away, yes you are essentially signing into Xbox Live. Your console is allowed to connect with your account to perform updates, however if you were to turn the console on, the Password
Protection is still required to sign into your Live Account. This is to ensure security and efficiency.
