Persistent Mute Icon - 100% troubleshooting fail

I use a hotspot from my Galaxy s9+, on straight talk network. I have a fully operational turtle beach headset that works on the console in another room, but my console is now locked into having a mute icon beside the battery whether or not I even have a
headset connected. The controller is up to date, no setting is causing this, the controller is new, the console wont even let sound come through for offline play. This is absolutely blowing my mind and unacceptable from Microsoft. I Pay for xbox live, I Pay
for my internet, I have Paid for these games and my xbox 1 s Battlefield 1 edition is now plagued with whatever bug this is that has fully embedded itself in my console.... the console was reset with games and profiles saved. And to boot everything was fine,
I've used the headset and console for a month before this in mid - conversation, basically fried all headset in/out data from communication. I have used other networks yielding open nat, yet still this persists. Please Help Me.

Hm, have you recently bought the headset? You might want to try returning it to where you got it and get an exchange.

Hey there Green Resin!

Sorry to hear that you're afflicted with this problem.

Microsoft and Xbox have deemed this a known issue that they are in the process of working on internally at the moment.

They have isolated this as being a problem usually occurring when working with third party headsets.

In this circumstance, I would say that you try maybe purchase a headset adapter to try and get around this problem, otherwise you might have to wait for Microsoft and Xbox to fix this problem in a future update.

Not at all, and it still works perfectly, it's the console freezing the sound output for headsets... I can't hear anything or speak to anyone on only this console... it works on the xbox 1 in the next room. My xbox has a mute mic icon that will not allow
headset communication at all
